Why choose Martha's Vineyard
Fast Ferry over driving into Massachusetts? |
To avoid the bumper to bumper Cape Cod traffic and the endless construction zones from the City of Providence and down I-195 East through Massachusetts! You can avoid driving 50 to 100 extra miles into Massachusetts to the other ferries. Our fast ferry service offers less driving, convenient dockside parking and advance reservations - Martha's Vineyard Fast Ferry is the most convenient and quickest way to get to and from the island!

I am
flying in from out of state, which airport
should I fly into, Providence, RI (PVD) or
Boston, MA (BOS)?
Before our service began last year most folks would fly into Boston and then would take a 2-hour bus ride to Woods Hole, MA. Now you can fly into Providence (PVD) and conveniently connect with our fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard via our Shuttle Service; our terminal is only 14 miles from the Providence Airport! You will also find that airfares into the Providence Airport are usually cheaper than Boston Logan Airport.

Where are the ferry terminals? |
In Rhode Island: The terminal is located in Quonset Point, in the town of North Kingstown. We are approximately 15 minutes from Newport, 10 minutes from Warwick, 20 minutes from Providence, 30 minutes from the border of Connecticut and less than 10 minutes from I-95.
In Martha's Vineyard: We do not have a ferry "terminal" located in Oak Bluffs, but we do have a company representative who is on the dock 60 minutes prior to each departure. The ferry arrives and departs just inside the harbor of the Oak Bluffs Marina, look for our sign on the dock. Everything you need is within walking distance from our dock.

the least expensive parking lot; we charge
$10.00 per calendar day with long-term discounts
available. Please be prepared to pay by cash
